NEW LEADERSHIP. NEW VISION.

VOTE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5

“We’re in this together.” ~Sujata

Dear Neighbor,

I care about our quality of life. I’ve been at your doors listening to the issues that matter to you, working for community improvement and engaging local residents for many years.

My career has been committed to public service and fairness for others. I can speak to the many women’s rights and human rights issues as part of the public debate.

My background includes being an educator, a practicing attorney, Trumbull’s Ethics Commission member, CT Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities Commissioner, and serving on local boards and non-profit organizations throughout our district. And I’ve been delighted to coach Trumbull High School’s We the People debate team.

It will be an honor to serve you. ~ Sujata

INCREASING OUR SHARE OF STATE FUNDING

I will advocate for increased federal and state funds to support continued improvements in paving, sidewalks, and dams.

I will work to secure state grant and bonding funds for our small businesses, town buildings, and parks.

INVESTING IN EDUCATION

I will fight to make sure our communities get their fair share of state education funding.

I will work to advocate our students to stay in Connecticut to work in critical industries.

I will ensure our schools get state funds to restore money that is being cut in our towns.
