I care about our quality of life. Since I became your Senator, we’ve delivered millions in new funding for Bridgeport, Trumbull, and Monroe. But there is more to be done. We need to make sure every school is fully funded, establish state-level health care that is affordable for all, and fight back against federal overreach.

My background includes being an educator, a practicing attorney, Trumbull’s Ethics Commission member, CT Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities Commissioner, and serving on local boards and non-profit organizations throughout our district.

SECURING OUR FAIR SHARE IN STATE FUNDING
- Delivered millions in state grants for critical infrastructure in Bridgeport, including the Klein, Cortright Hall, youth empowerment, and medical and dental clinics
- Secured funding for the construction of Trumbull’s new Veterans and First Responders Center and for the Monroe Grange
INVESTING IN EDUCATION
- Added millions of dollars in additional funding as Co-Chair of the Special Education Committee
- Won additional funds for schools, after-school programs, and childcare throughout the district
- Expanded opportunities for tuition-free college
- Helped establish and fund the early childhood education endowment
PROTECTING PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT
- Preserves and enforces ethics in government as Co-Chair of the Government Oversight Committee
- Works with our community through the League of Women Voters, YMCA, and Rotary
- Votes to strengthen laws protecting residents from human trafficking and sexual assault
- Named "New Voice for the Environment" for work combating pollution and climate change
